At the first sign of scour, rehydration is always the top priority for the calf’s health. Scourlyte has been developed as a ready to use liquid formula to enable a quick application and quick action on rehydrating the calf. It can also be applied through milk allowing energy and protein supply to remain undisturbed. 

Scourlyte also contains betaine and organic zinc to help the regeneration of damaged gut mucosa and improvement of cell water hydration. Supplied in a 1 litre dosing bottle (50ml per calf dose).

COMPOSITION: Dextrose, Potassium chloride, Sodium chloride, (Sugar) beet molasses, betaine rich, liquid. ADDITIVES / L: Nutritional additives: Zinc from Zinc chelate of glycine hydrate (solid) ( E.C.O.Trace ) (3b607) 200mg, Technological additives: Sodium propionate (E281) 311,100mg. INGREDIENTS (% VOL.): Crude protein 0.9%, Crude ash 15.3%, Crude fat 0.0%, Crude fibre 0.0%, Sodium 9.1% Potassium 2.8%, Betaine 1.0% Moisture 63.4%, Buffering capacity 79m mol/l. 

DOSAGE: Shake well before use.
Calves: 50ml / animal / 2 litre drinking trough.
Piglets: mix 50ml with 2 litres of water for ad libitum consumption.
Lambs and kids: 25ml / 1 litre water.
Scourlyte should be applied in cases of acute diarrhoea or in phases of risk of intestinal disturbance to prevent a decreased blood pH value. It is suitable to be administered into the milk or milk replacer. Free access to drinking water is absolutely necessary.

FEEDING ADVICE: Due to the increased content of zinc related to complete feed, this complementary feeding stuff should only be applied up to 50% (vol.%) of the daily ration.

STORAGE: Keep in a cool (5-25°C), well ventilated place. Protect against direct sunlight and freezing.
